I strive to make my students feel comfortable, to make learning fun and meaningful, and for all students to be able to see their own progress, even after only a couple lessons.
Since I am fully trained and have been certified in Music Education I take a well-rounded educational approach to private lessons and classes, making learning complete and fun. In addition to performance techniques, you will gain skills and knowledge in music theory, sight reading, ear training, Alexander Technique, and creative musical expression.
I have taught all ages and ability levels from beginner to advanced, including coaching of performing artists. Lessons are for everyone-- from the smallest little one starting out on his or her musical journey to a senior citizen who wants to fulfill that lifelong dream of making music. It's never too late to start music lessons! Those musicians who already have experience may be interested in coaching as preparation for upcoming gigs, musical theater auditions, vocal competitions, church solos, and more.
