Singing
Time is a fun and comprehensive vocal training class; it's
like a choir and voice lesson all rolled in to one fun
package! :) In Singing Time, we focus on building
confidence, exploring the unique and individual talents of
each singer and developing strong and healthy voices in
young singers. We work on developing good
musicianship, reading music, using healthy vocal technique
while exploring a wide variety of styles of music in a
nurturing and supportive environment.
Singing Time is for anyone who loves to sing. This
class is for those who feel they have a special talent and
it is equally for those who wish to develop skills in
singing and aren't terribly confident yet. It is a
myth that you are either born a gifted singer or "can't
carry a tune in a bucket" and that is your fate in
life. The truth is: singing is a skill that
EVERYONE can learn. Everyone deserves to enjoy music
and to celebrate their own talents with confidence.
In this class all students learn to appreciate their own
and others' gifts.

Ms. Trish is certified to teach vocal music, grades K
through 12 and has extensive classroom and choral music
education experience. Choirs under her direction have been
highly acclaimed and have performed extensively throughout
the East Coast. She is frequently invited to guest conduct
Honors Choirs and adjudicate choir festivals and Solo and
Ensemble festivals. She is known for having great technical
expertise while also maintaining a fun-loving approach to
educating students. She strives to make all students feel
successful, to learn to love their voice and to sing out
with pride! Voice lessons build confidence and musicianship
and help foster a happy, healthy, creative child.
